Feeling all "little house on the prairie" over here. Today I worked on sewing a dress, canned a bunch of meat, rendered a bunch of fat, made chicken bouillon pucks to go in the freezer, and replanted seedlings. My jars are nearly empty and I'm running out of trays to hold my seedlings in.

Inspired by qulliq and sterno, I made a stove from bits and bobs found around the house. It uses cleaned bacon fat as fuel, and gets hot enough my kid was able to cook soup with it.
