Back in 79 or 80 a certain corps from Chicago wasn't going to make finals. They sent someone to repose with the chief judge. A Kansas corps horn instructor got wind, bought a basic DCI shirt and wrote "is gay" under it. It caused quite the stir. I wish I still had the photos.
