We do have the opportunity to bring in a a fresh person and being unknown (unknown to the other side), can be used to our advantage - if we have a negotiator who knows that tool.

Not hard to believe as the tariffs erode American spending power. Wealthy c-level people will soon realize that you can only remove so much labour before your bottom line starts shrinking. Labour kinda needed still.

I hate to say it, but these older white guys have to go. Being in that category myself i can see how the younger generations puke these "Boss Hogs" out. The current administration, senate, congress and SC is full of this vile deadwood floating in the swamp.

We need to feed facts on immigration. Show them how Carney is attempting to demonstrate true hope. Show oligarchs are the real cause of their financial woes - not all Gov.

It’s all a colossal waste. Think what we are spending on wars. Could solve healthcare, education, infrastructure, hunger - just with that budget.

Point taken. They’re always in campaign mode. Consider the message is intended to raise mining interest in US. This generates more leverage in our trade wars. Could it be spent better? Maybe.

Truth is it does. Dev, ops, rehab all carry huge cost. Responsible miners understand this and build it into the life-of-mine plans. It is law to do so. Just don’t make it the mining companies sole responsibility. Share the wealth and cost. All stakeholders need to be made accountable.

Realized that but you were not specific. It think both ads served a purpose. Could the money be spent on other things? Sure. I am just pointing out that I disagreed on them being a “colossal waste”. Even Mr. Angus congratulated Ford. The mining ad I agree with - as long as everyone plays nice.

The public does not have the knowledge to digest mining complexities. Keep it within the leadership of the stakeholders. Going public just generates noise - misinformation and divisiveness.
If any leadership sees injustice without resolution, take that public.

Appreciate the sentiment. Living in mining Sudbury, KL, Noranda, Timmins, is see the riches and devastation mining offers. We have the tech and skills. Just need the will of all stakeholders to share in both. The riches are plentiful as much as the "devastation" can be mitigated.

I agree 100%. Mainstream has manifested into a survivor mentality. They fear their audience will rebuke them. They try to stay close to the fence. It is shameful to watch sometimes - especially when a politician says something blatantly false and the "journalist" says nothing.

One of the most misunderstood problems fostering a racist culture. Do we ask the business why we they abuse the program? Even in my circles, especially those that never travel are fed the PP rhetoric, and validated by a bad order at Tim Hortons.

We are moving away from all the hard work our forefathers put into formal/due process. Chaters,CoC,Bills, and to an extent laws are being bypassed. My guess is half the politicians and servants haven’t read any of it let alone understand and accept it.
