In the last 24 seasons a Brady or Carroll or Spytek team has been in the playoffs in 22 seasons including 12 seasons ending in SB with 9 seasons ending with a Lombardi. High expectations

The thing I like about the new Carroll-Spytek regime is #Raiders should now be functional for a couple of years. Grown ups with rings to show for their time and a belief in culture and doing it right. Might not mean winning the wild wild AFCW now but you've got to be good before you can be great

I really think it would help if Pete Carroll became #Raiders president and the voice of the owners. It's lacking and a big miss with the fans. Give him a 5 year deal and let him babysit a young OC type headcoach

AP is great in the locker room and players play hard for him. That is important. But the actual playing of the game on the field needs a step change. From opponent prep, to in-game changes, clock management and grasping the big moments, #Raiders are currently at a rookie level.

The good news is despite an awful season this group of #Raiders players and coaches are still straining every inch to win. Commendable, you could say remarkable. The bad news is it is now clear that other things are needed - effort cannot make this group competitive

Trailing by 11 with 8:47 to go #Raiders burnt 5:42 going 57 yards to kick a FG. I know there is a backup QB but that is a lot of time off the clock

It seems bizarre to me that the #Raiders had Turner/O'Connell in house this off season and yet went outside the building to put Getsy/Minshew in charge of their Offense
