Nothing like living in an area where a candidate can drive drunk and crash into a house a week before an election and still win. And yes it was a Republican backed by the local committee. So much for morals and family values.

Trump's "golden age of America" so far...

-Inflation ⬆️
-Stock market ⬇️
-Thousands of layoffs
-Consumer & worker protections gutted
-Diseases spreading
-Federal funding illegally frozen
-$10 million+ spent on golf
-An unelected billionaire lining his pockets at our expense

Trump has been put in his place by 3 world leaders and he can’t take it. He is used not being questioned or corrected by his cult. He is embarrassing himself and the US in the world stage

So Trump’s DOJ released some of the Epstein files to right wing influencers.
No way do we get the truth from them. So much for transparency

Good morning and Happy Tuesday to everyone who agrees that if Elon Musk really wanted to cut waste, he'd start with subsidies to Big Oil, loopholes to hedge funds, and all the waste from the Pentagon.

History buffs will know that every authoritarian leader eventually converges on some version of: "I *am* the state. I can not break the law, I am the law, the law is instantiated in me."

Our march to authoritarianism so far has been excruciatingly by-the-book. Hitting every beat. No surprises.

So apparently we are going to fight the Middle East, Europe, Canada, Central America, and possibly China all at once. I thought Trump was pro peace?

Trump announced tariffs on Sat. Market reacts and opens down. He then rescinds the tariffs. The market goes up. His rich buddies with inside info bought low and sold high making a ton of $$. This is all a grift using the US economy

Just so we are clear, tariffs are not paid for by foreign countries or corporations. They are paid by the importer and ultimately us when they are factored into the cost of goods sold.

I am far more fearful of what Musk will do than what Trump will do
February 1, 2025 at 9:58 PM
I’m confused. On one had Trump wants tariffs to increase production in the US and lessen our reliance on imports. On the other hand he wants revenue from tariffs to replace the income tax. So theoretically over time tariff revenue would go down. How can me rely on that income?

I will find the beauty.
I will hold on to peace.

In his Inaugural Address, President Trump made inaccurate claims about the state of the economy, immigration, world affairs and federal and local investigations into his own conduct. Here’s a fact-check.
Trump Repeats Inaccurate Claims in Inaugural Remarks
In his Inaugural Address, President Trump delivered a more tempered version of election talking points. But in remarks afterward, he reprised his grievances about the 2020 election.
