I give Skybound a pass on this because everything else about the comic is a riot of colors and they're willing to do Weird Shit to the old character models to make them interesting.

I like the effect the chapter numbers have in getting you to second-guess things when it seems the arc might be on the verge of finishing, akin to a YouTuber telling you "Don't look at the runtime" when it sounds like they're wrapping up early.
