We are constantly monitoring weather RADAR and snow patterns in the county and from counties which precede us in the storm path. The team will collaborate at 6:00 p.m. this evening to address storm issues and advise on our level and or closure announcements shortly thereafter. There is a lot of talk about essential and non-essential workers appearing for work in a Level 2 Snow Emergency. Please note, the decisions to drive to work are strictly between you and your employer. We do not issue a Level 3 because individuals are concerned about roadway conditions and driving to work. Your freedom and liberty to make such decisions rests in you the people. Should a Level 3 be declared, roadways will be closed to non-emergency and non-essential travel.
