I teach journalism to lots of students every year. The majority use those skills in other professional contexts. If they can use journalism skills to identify a community’s information needs and fill them thoughtfully and effectively, they can add value in many different professional settings

His contemporary counterpart (who may or may not have a face) is doing better in that regard, although I’m afraid he might trip over that stack behind his chair. I was happy to see that he kept both typewriters

The rural newspaper editor might have a hoarding problem
