That’s true, I will say no other game I’ve played is quite as cognitively demanding as sts is at times, that’s part of what makes it so addictive sometimes and also why I’m stuck on A13 with every character and too rusty to go back now

You can alter your deck in response to what the act 3 boss is you see it at the start of the act, and you can play smart enough to win on a “hard countered” deck with potions and relic synergies and such. I’ve beaten time eater on a shiv deck many times.

He seems like a pretty “apolitical” center (slightly right leaning socially due to the current Overton window) white STEM guy, but even he was able to realize how corrupt some of the systems in this country are, in his manifesto he even admits he isn’t the most educated on politics, which I respect

We don’t really know yet but it must be sobering after living the lifestyle of cutting as many corners as possible in your life for the sake of efficiency, only to be confronted with the reality that you were a corner waiting to be cut out of someone else’s system

I dunno I think there may be something to be said about the promise of the endless techbro grindset having some sort of pay off, only for the healthcare system to completely shatter that perception

Eh fair enough, I kinda had a similar experience both with my first play through of the DLC and the base game, low key I do wish it didn’t have the big open world it’s entirely a chore in both. And on my first play thrus I kinda hated most bosses to but on repeat plays they were more fun

I do agree that the scadutree system is awful but it also has some of the best bosses in the game and unfortunately with Elden ring the open world was always a chore between bosses imo
