Honestly as someone who just moved from wow to eq(back to eq after a long hiatus) a year ago I would say it's the opposite when it comes to community interactions. Right there with you in regards to gameplay tho

1. Not sure about 2 as far as community since I don't actively play, but it is easier to get into and would not be surprised if their "classic"servers have a chill vibe.

Everquest has a few emulated servers with that feel quarm/p99 and the a variety of custom servers to fill a few different niches of gameplay. Problem is that you have to enjoy Everquest in the first place.

Big doggy in naxx was real interesting tho. Just gotta be creative and not crank up health regen. I'm looking at you EQ.
