I see we found where 1980s rocker Don Dokken does his laundry.

(This joke would’ve killed at my high school back in 1989.)

I pledge my undying allegiance.

1. Billy Joel
2. Rush
3. Tool
4. Aerosmith
5. Jay-Z (I find him really mush mouthed)

Do you know how much shit I get for telling people I don’t like Billy Joel (the artist — the person seems okay)? It’s like I kicked everyone’s dog and grandma.

It’s good to know there are others out there.

The penultimate card I needed to finish my 1986 Topps set. I spent all summer looking for him and Cardinals reliever Jeff Lahti.

I may not know where my keys are right now but I’ll never forget those two guys.

Mario Mendoza. But we have to pay half of Hicks’ contract.

They once showed movies on that forehead but now he has an even
more demeaning job.

Really? I’ll take your word for it.

I thought for sure he’d sit out his day as a protest if elected. And I wouldn’t have been surprised if he asked for his name to be removed from the ballot.

I’ve noticed that sometimes BB can be a bit over dramatic. 😊

This is awful news. I enjoyed Dan’s pieces a lot on Defector and Deadspin. RIP.

Man, what the hell Tim Apple? Read the room.

As a Bay Area guy, it sucks that you had to witness this with the removal of your team, the A’s.

(As well as the Raiders and to a lesser extent the Warriors.)

In any event, that should be a reminder that these billionaires will move anywhere for an extra nickel.

They don’t care about the sport.

You’re 100% right Jesse. Next year at this time a lot of fans will be screaming about “ungrateful ballplayers”, when it should be “ungrateful owners”.

Even if MLB gets a cap (I don’t think they will) no part of the ballpark experience will be cheaper.

Deuce Bigalow? More like Single Bigalow.

They’re all (baseball, hoops, hockey, Lego, Rock ‘Em Sock ‘Em Robots) pointless institutions and have been since their respective day ones.

Ugh. This sucks.

And I’m sure Verizon sent out a statement telling people to take it up with FOX.

Thank you for the quick response.

I’m sure you’ve spoken to hitters about this of the years. What do they have to say?

We’ve heard the stories about guys getting “the flu” when Clemens or Ryan or Koufax or Gibson came to town. But if you face Clemens on Monday are you overswinging on Tuesday versus Hurst or Boddicker?
