The revolution will not be televised, it won't be streamed, it won't be microblogged.
It will be lived, it will be in the actions of everyday people, it will be.

I think at this point the social media thing is more harmful than helpful. If you’d like to keep up with me online I’ll be maintaining my ko-fi, my newsletter, & my blog on Medium. You can find the links all over my profile. I won’t be deleting, but definitely logging off for the foreseeable future.

Everyone talks about “Camp Damascus” by Chuck Tingle, but I have not seen nearly enough love for “Straight”.
I’ve listened to it three times in two months and finally got a copy off ThriftBooks and am now reading it again lol.

On this #NationalPoetryDay I'd like to present my first little poetry zine! I'm working on new ones, but wanted to offer these lil guys to folks outside of my immediate community!

Here is your chance to get my first ever miniest of "Pocket Poems" zine! Because these are so small, & a lil quirky, each also comes with a hand drawn book mark. There is only 45 of these lil guys total. The next zines will be in a slightly different size, with added staples for structure.

I reviewed the book of Ruth in today's Bible Book Review! Ruth is one of the short books, taking only about 30 minutes to read, my review however only takes about 5!
This is the 4th Book of the Bible review of the series, & I am having so much fun!

Love In The Cold, a poem about not just romantic love.
In a world so full of doomscrolling, feeding fear and hate, I have decided to turn to love, in all its forms, to remind me of the beauty of life. Join me?

This was a big thing for me, and I was lucky to have an affirming doctor and therapist, who both helped me to accept my body’s inherent differences and that helped me finally begin my medical transition.
Biology, etc. is complex, well beyond what we learn in high school.

Trans peoples' bodies also often work differently from cis peoples' even before we go on HRT or have any surgeries. A great deal of research shows physiological and neuroanatomical differences in many trans populations that aren't well understood yet.

I also wrote about Amos recently! Though he was no professional, he certainly preached with faith and determination!

I’m literally going to lose insurance, because the only thing making us able to afford it at all was the tax credit.

I’m listening to Ocean Vuong’s “Time Is A Mother”, during a thunderstorm.
For now I am just a man, heart split open, in love,
that tastes like salt water.
The rest of the world, at once miles away,
For just a moment the flames,
Are just a distant glow.

I may have been traumatized by my experience with the LDS church, and I carry generations behind me of deeply troubled theology from the LDS church, and yet I still do not think anyone should be gunned down in church, or anywhere for that matter.
I’m tired of people being shot. Period.

Access to knowledge should be accessible to all, and at the same time we live in a world where bills must be paid. Both are true.

One of the things I don't like about Medium as a platform for my writing, is that I can't afford the subscription to be able to read a majority of the posts on their.
My membership lapsed again, and now I can only read like a quarter of the content.
This is partially why I don't paywall my writing.

Why does it have to cost $10,000 out of pocket, minimum, for me to get top surgery?
This is stupid. I'm at the point were I may have to just accept that I won't ever be able to afford it.

If people put even half as much energy into saving trans people as they did saving Jimmy Kimmel, we'd have this all fixed! We have seen the power of collective action when it comes to entertainment. Let's apply that towards trans civil rights!

hi, cis folks!

do you trust the senate to decide whether you can have healthcare or if you legally exist under the law or where you can legally wash your hands or pee? neither do we!

please tap into the thread & tell senators our civil rights & lives matter—even more than the jimmy kimmel show!
Trans healthcare bans are a part of HB 3944, HB 4016, HB 3838, HB 4213, HB 4779, HB 5342, HB 5304, HB 5116, and SB 2296.
Provisions that end the legal recognition of trans people are part of HB 3838, HB 4552, and HB 5342.
Sec 594 of HB 5342 is a prison ban that sees that no federal funding can be used to place an incarcerated person in a prison inconsistent with their "biological sex
There are SOCIAL transition bans as part of HB 5342 and HB 5304.
A provision to ensure trans and queer foster kids can be taken in by homes where they'll be forced to endure conversion therapy and abuse is part of HB 5304.
Bathroom bans are a part of HB 3838 and HB 5342.
Despite House and Senate Democrats uniting as a bloc against transgender sports bans in January and February of this year (with the exception of the 4 notable and vocal House-D bigots), sports bans are a part of HB 3838, HB 5304, HB 5342, and SB 2296,
Sections that even allow same-sex marriage discrimination appear in HB 4016, HB 4121, HB 4213, HB 4249, HB 4552, HB 4553, HB 5342, HB 4754, and HB 5304.

I cannot stand this vpn stuff. IDK if I am just not tech savvy or what, but this connecting my desktop, and then having to disconnect to print anything is so annoying.
Am I doing something wrong? Or is it because I am not willing to pay more than $4 a month that this is just what it is.

I really had some personal reflection in this one, & am gladly sharing some with y'all! Regardless of your personal denomination, or even if you aren't a Christian at all, I'd love to hear your thoughts.

Holy buns,
I feel like the Gospel of Matthew chewed me up and spit me out. I'm not sure why it was so hard for me to get through, but I will be taking you on a much shorter version of my journey through it tomorrow! Hope your ready! lol

Thanks to my husband’s superior button pushing skills, here is my first mini poetry zine! This is the front cover & page one.
I had so much fun designing this and writing the poem for it. It’s a standard lil 8 pages total. Hand drawn, then scanned & printed on eco conscious paper. (1/2)
Front cover of “Pocket Poems” by SH Grey October 2025’s poem is “We Call It Fall” the cover features three simple leaves, and a simple feather doodled between the title of the poem in the center and the date written on the bottom right corner. Page one of “We Call It Fall” which reads “ Leaves turn gold, Fall to the ground, With grace, some grandeur.” The page has five little leaves doodled on the bottom half, with a small 1 in the bottom middle to mark the page number.
