After figuring out how many tiles he had to fill, Niko commissioned me to draw the Tichu tiles and face cards in “bysshe style.” I tried to be cute with the face tiles and work the letters JQK into their respective designs. They kind of remained?

I think it began with these 3D printed dominos I made in the same size and proportion of Riichi mahjong tiles. To my knowledge, these are what set @cityhare.studio off on the adventure.

Well, after at least 2 years, I finally have to buy refills for these. (Note: the plastic is still on them.) That’s cool because the 3rd marker at home has been refilled 2 times. These suckers last forever.

What a month! I don’t usually go beyond the 5x5, but I felt like I had such a fun time in January I wanted to show all the wacky shit I played. A spent a lot of time with my non-hobby family and a lot of time with my designer friends online. :)

@25thcentury.games Question! I just got Sunny Day Sardines in the mail, and I have these two cards that were in a pouch all by themselves. I don’t see them in the rulebook, but am I correct in assuming they’re just used as “wild” fish cards?
