I read a statement in Bluesky earlier that made tons of sense. How could those powerboats make it to the US border without filling up 10 times or more. How? 1,649 nautical miles with a supposed ton of drugs, 3-4 high powered outboards running non-stop, you do the math.

Why can’t northern cities do this with roads to eliminate ice/snow during the winter months? Imagine the savings! Reduced road clearing, insurance claims from accidents, hospitalization costs from accidents. But I guess there will be lobbies that would fight its induction, there always is!

Make it illegal for the CEO to pick the Board of Directors. Make the salary of a BOD member a comparison to the value of company stock or make it a pro bono. CEO selection does not follow a supply/demand so have them be elected by share holders as in a democracy/republic. Have them earn the job!
