Yessss! Definitely influential :))

I spent all of 2021 & 2022 watching Romancing the Gothic YouTube vids and it made me go huh maybe I can write a book— and then I did!!! Impossible to measure how that gothic knowledge and like short story reading helped build my confidence but it did! Thank you forever!!

Unfortunately I think they have the opposite power— they find out you have a bunch of other reads and then suddenly every book is ready for you to borrow 😅

Would love for you to go really in depth on mafia/gang code!! It’s so serious and kinda cool and very real for the characters if explored!
