So far, I've written and edited the story. I have begun designing the illustrations for each page for my incredible friend to design.

I'm so excited to see this completed. More updates to come along the way. 🙂

It does not take much to help make a person's day a little bit brighter or a little bit easier.

Be kind. It's not asking that much.

If you cannot accept simple requests from someone you claim to be friends with/family, then you do not care about them at all. You might as well not talk to them full stop.

So, why if someone is asking to be included in events/activities unreasonable? Why is it unreasonable to provide food that everyone can eat? Why is it unreasonable to request simple measures be implemented to prevent any unnecessary discomfort, stress, or pain?

That said, if you claim to be someone's friend or family, and their request is simple and does not harm/impact you, then why should you not help? Why wouldn't you want to help? When you care about someone, you want to make their lives easier.

The onus is on the person with a particular challenge or trigger to find ways to avoid or minimise difficult situations on their part. However, it is not solely on them. People have a right to say, I cannot meet that request. Not everyone is compatible, not every situation will work out.
