according to this farmer, a trade war and the bailout was always expected to be part of a trump presidency and factored into their business plans-they also expected (and got) weakened farm worker protection, weakened environmental regs, and tax breaks

despite Scotus recent decision, serving flag officers/personnel will not follow such extra legal orders as "kill my opponent" as Sotomayor posits-the problem is that hegseth is systematically replacing such officers/personnel with his own who may follow such orders-if he succeeds America is over

flag officers are smart, good at critical thinking, do not get all their news from fox, immediately recognize and have no respect for poseurs and bullshitters. Many are conservative and may agree with some of what was said but will not blindly follow, and will honor their oath to the constitution.

during my military career, I interacted with 3 admirals and met 2 AF generals-one thing they all had in common is that they would not tolerate pretenders and bullshitters-though they respect the offices of sec and pres-i have no doubt that they have absolutely no respect for the present occupants.

the thing about the military is everyone knows your history-he can flash his tattoos all he wants, everyone knows his story-a failed military officer-the flag officers listening to him know all this-they have all served with/commanded shitbirds and don't pay much attention when being lectured by one
