You do know that, although not good for you, negative internal body anxiety and self shaming is a sign of higher intelligence.

Hang in there. You look great and you will have a big heart and fun personality.

Always take time for yourself and dont be afraid of playing on easy mode for a while.

@codivore.bsky.social you seem like a big kid at heart and someone who loves children. Have you ever thought about doing storybook time for kids (at a library or something)? I think they would love you.

Things you think would be used are still there just as when you were a kid. Im so happy I bought a house down the road from one.

Also I am so glad that libraries are still a thing and trying to be the centre of communities. Every week I go there parents are always taking their kids to storybook time, kids are reading books and students and just regular people are doing research on the computers.

I used to be like that. Until I got to college and was neck deep in text books. Then just to unwind I started going to the library and just reading to relax between classes (this was before laptops were affordable and way before kindles and smart phones).

Problem with living in Australia is watching the US is like seeing a preview of what's to come.

Thank God we did something about our guns.

When you have a tough day/ week and know you have to distress, what do you do? What tv show and/or movie would you watch.

Me i go nostalgia, I play FTL on easy mode while I play 80s cartoon marathons (with the commercials still in - plenty in YT) in the background.

Dark city was a proving ground that Sydney could create professional Hollywood movies. The next big one was the Matrix.
