An HDD in 1986 was so rare! I had the same setup but single floppy, green screen monitor and no HDD (I was 12 years old so small budget). It was a Taiwanese clone with the Turbo button to 8Ghz (8088). Color CGA monitor and second floppy came later but no HDD till I upgraded to a 386 in 89.

Think about where the oil is going from Venezuela. It won't be to America. To be clear it will go through American companies so they will profit from that, but it's not for American consumption. So whoever will be buying it has agency here and they are exercising it by not lifting a finger.

Compare to a more advanced car design, one that uses stored electricity instead of burning dinosaur oil. That one can run the little light for several months without running out. Perhaps the problem is not so much that the car is too dumb, but that tts core technology is obsolete.

If this is Steam then make sure they send out notification emails once the game goes live. There are stories of small developers whose game was wishlists 500k times and sold almost nothing because a glitch prevented said emails from being sent.

The actions of the USA (until Trump 2.0) and of the European Union since the 2022 invasion of Ukraine seem to signal that they have accepted that fact and are acting accordingly.

For a while we tried resetting the relationship. We had to give it a shot. So giving Russia slack made sense in that context.

Obama (and Clinton) started the process of arming and training Ukraine in 2014. This led to Ukraine developing more of a separate identity from Russia than it had before and has been the deciding factor in its ability to resist this long.
