schmoopie update: she's the same as ever! her liver levels are elevated but under control. her cancer hasn't gotten worse. she's gained some weight which the oncologist said is better than losing (I'll take it if symptoms of cancer are held at bay). she has a good quality of life. my strong girl! 😽

my grandmom was reunited with my pop-pop this morning 🕊️ I imagine them dancing in the cosmos to Frankie Valli. she was such a good human. I never doubted how much she loved me. from taking me to my first movie to some of the biggest moments of my adult life, I always knew how proud of me she was.

my grandmom was reunited with my pop-pop this morning 🕊️ I imagine them dancing in the cosmos to Frankie Valli. she was such a good human. I never doubted how much she loved me. from taking me to my first movie to some of the biggest moments of my adult life, I always knew how proud of me she was.
I got a call yesterday that my Grandmom took a turn. As of now she's still with us, but it's only a matter of time. She had been declining mentally but her physical health nosediving has come as a surprise. I jumped on a train right away yesterday to say goodbye one last time. Love you Grandmom ❤️
