What disturbs me the most about Kirk being lauded as a free speech advocate is that he spent his entire career sitting under a sign that read “prove me wrong” and refused to allow his opposition to actually finish making their points.
This commentary offers a clear, powerful statement of why freedom of speech is at the heart of democracy and must be defended, whether the speaker is Charlie Kirk or Jimmy Kimmel, MAGA supporters or MAGA opponents.

Yesterday it snowed about 6”. Today I shoveled the driveway and cleared my truck so I don’t have to do it in a panic before work tomorrow. It’s 3°F, but sun and no wind made it feel much warmer.

Earned a good bonk to my forehead earlier this week from a falling squeegee handle after it was propped up behind the mop bucket instead of hung on the wall. Informed closing mgr of the injury and why. Came in the next day to a mop propped up the same way.
