The Egasse-Braasch House was declared a historical monument in 2013. Designed by Jean Louis Egasse in a whimsical storybook style. The curves and arches, although not symmetrical, are all geometrically related, in order to create an ensemble of harmonious lines.

The California State Archive. Completed in 1995, the 170,000 square foot building has six floors of environmentally controlled stacks, including a number of specialized vaults, which house the Archives' collections, as well as preservation, imaging, and processing labs. #architect #archive
