Went to see War of the Worlds live and now I'm so buzzing with all the songs in my head I can't sleep 🙄😫

Sanremo thoughts - love Shablo - so cool to have hiphop at Sanremo, and I especially love the trumpet part in the last chorus. Would really love to see Cuoricini at Eurovision. It's so catchy & love their chemistry! Loving quirky Lucio Corsi too.

Thoughts on the new songs we got:

🇺🇦 I loved Place I Call Home last yr but something about this is jarring to me and it wasn't one of my favs in the selection. Loved the staging though and it's growing on me, it has such a nostalgic, comforting & hopeful sound.

Those saying it's an NQ - be real!

Also NIYL was so robbed by the juries (though I don't think his styling and staging did him any favours). This was my winner.

I also loved Samantha's performance and not just cos of the Irish dancers (who were never that hot when I was dancing 😞) #Eurosong

Laika Party's not for me but I can see why other people like it, and it will definitely qualify. I'm just a bit disappointed though and worried it sends the wrong message. #Eurosong actually had great options this year but how many independent Irish artists will want to take part next year?

I saw Welsh trad rock band NoGood Boyo last night. Eurofans who like their folk rock entries (think XGiove, Zdob şi Zdub, Go_A, Alvan & Ahez, Ogenj..) might like them

Ireland's Eurosong is really good this year! I'd probably listen to all the songs. Not sure which one I'd pick to go - a lot depends on the live and staging vision obvs, but they have a lot to work with this year!
