The tariffs aren’t about the economics. They are a way for Trump to make corporations, industries, countries beholden to him. It’s only about his power and wealth. Not about our economy. He could care less.

People need to be educated how these actions are and will be affecting their pocketbook and lives. In very simple language. Just the simple facts. And show how Dems would have been doing to help in each instance instead.

I attended a town hall call this week with our rep and felt up-to-the-minute informed and part of the process. People were able to directly ask questions. I heard Rep. Panetta’s passion and commitment to our district and democracy and went to bed feeling comforted for the first time in week.

You need to switch that order up. Courts should not be your first hope. They mean nothing to a felon with immunity! The word needs to get out to the people in simple terms so they GET what’s happening. Simple. The people are where your hope is but you’re doing a terrible job of speaking to us.

What exactly can we do? I’ve contacted my reps and senators but I live in CA. We need outrage beyond Schumer standing there slowing building railroad tracks. This is a new age and railroad tracks ain’t gonna do it.
