The spin machine on the Trump/Zelenzkyy meeting is whirling faster than a Maytag right now. This is the sort of thing being flung about on Facebook. I can't even figure out what the possible sourcing of it is - any ideas?
The White House meeting with Zelensky was planned as a Photo Opportunity and Press Release for signing a deal that had already been verbally agreed to. However, Zelensky had a meeting with a bunch of Democrat and a couple of RINO Congress people, just prior to the White House meeting, and it appears that they convinced Zelensky to back out of the deal, and act like a tough guy making new demands. The Ambassador from Ukraine witnessed this debacle, and hid her face with her hands in shame, due to Zelensky's terrible blunder. As a result, the negotiations for peace have collapsed, more Ukrainians will be killed, and more damage will be done to necessary civilian infrastructure in Ukraine. But European leaders are praising Zelensky and offering him a tiny fraction of the financial and military aid that would have been available if that document had been signed. Zelensky acted like a fool and the people of Ukraine will pay for his error.
