The last thing we got from D’Angelo was the wonderful ‘Unshaken’ from the ‘Red Dead Redemption 2’ video game soundtrack. The scene in which it features is probably the most memorable part of the game - forever made even more poignant now. May he rest in power.

Ever have that moment at 3:21 in your abode when your shuffle playlist just hits time on time and gets you microdancing around your couch? Don’t play me; you know.

If you’re looking for an Oasis ticket let me know. I have some national trust vouchers that are punk as fuck.

Kinda just want to see Sabrina Carpenter collaborate with Richard Carpenter.

God Only Knows what music would be without Brian Wilson. Rest in Power.

RIP Sly Stone. A true genius and a behemoth of talent. That's one hell of an indelible mark he left on the music of the 20th Century and beyond - the pop music of today would sound very different and very dull if we never got Sly.

Someone should tell Hideo Kojima that if he doesn’t take his coat off he won’t feel the benefit. Dude is always dressed for October.

Cenk Uyghur is the world’s first nepo adult. After he got tired of speaking sense on the left he grifted all the way to the bank on the coattails of right wing hatred for his famous nephew. What a nefarious piece of shit. ‘The Young Turks’ is a good Rod Stewart song but a bad media outlet.

As much as I treasure Bill Withers, ‘Just the Two of Us’ is a Grover Washington Jr tune and if you ain’t playing the full seven-minute version I ain’t interested.

There are many reasons to support trans people - least of which could be simply because opening the door to a non-binary societal concept on gender lessens the number of characteristics and values we must share with the creatures living in both Downing Street and the White House. They not like us.

‘Spinning the Wheel’ is such an underrated George Michael gem. That falsetto bridge sends me every time.

I love the Stylistics but that new record gets very old very quickly and stays that way for damn near an hour and a half. Cymande got the veteran funk and soul LP right though. ‘Renascence’ is incredible.

Ruin your Sunday by being made aware of these terrible records. Still, it's better than actually listening to them. Did you give any of them a listen? Let us know how you're coping. Please.

They have just played six Oasis songs in a row in the pub. If that’s not a sign that we’ve collectively jumped the shark, I don’t know what is.

RIP Roy Ayers. I was lucky enough to catch him live back in 2022 and he was absolutely electric on that vibraphone of his. Another great loss to the world of music.
