Within minutes of Trump being sworn in as the 47th president of the United States, his Department of Government Efficiency — the Elon Musk-led faux agency tasked with slashing federal programs, regulations and workforce — was sued 3 times.

Trump signed an executive order known as "Schedule F" that stripped thousands of federal employees of job protections, making it easier to dismiss them for political disloyalty. Federal workers sued to challenge the order.

The ACLU, Lawyers for Civil Rights and 22 Democratic states filed four lawsuits challenging Trump's executive order revoking birthright citizenship for babies born in the U.S. whose parents aren't citizens. The suits claimed Trump's action violated the 14th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution.

Very much worth watching. How did we get into this mess? What's the way forward? What happened in our history to give us clues?
