Makes sense. Was there an uptick in that sentiment with the rise of EDM? Felt like it from here but I only know what I’ve been around for.

Rave guy here, this isn’t strictly a gen z thing. With the rise of corporate
EDM/giant festival stages and the co-opting of rave culture, some of the underground adopted an anti-PLUR vibe. I bought a shirt in 2015 that read “NO COAST NO HOPE NO DREAMS MIDWEST TECHNO” made by a group called NO PLUR.
