What an utter waste. Not only is it not going to fix traffic, it’s going to further incentivize driving at the cost of funding other things (mass transit) that actually would reduce traffic. Unbelievable.

I believe the double tracking will cost about 1 billion. Although 70% of that comes from federal grants so now that these maniacs are in the government who knows how that will play out.
