What's the difference between not paying someone to work, but giving them shitty food/shelter; vs. paying your workers just barely enough to cover shitty food/shelter where the money just gets funneled back to the upper class. It's just slavery with extra steps, serfdom or feudal peasantry at BEST

I've never heard anybody point it out, but it's weird the cliche they have in movies where high school cheer auditions are in front of the captains, and popularity is a big factor. Does any school actually do that? Because that's usually the coach's job

Thank you @mark-carney.bsky.social for calling out the US's role in the illegal weapons trade. We complain about terrorists and drugs while supplying the very weapons that give them the ability to do that. The rich pay it lip service and do nothing because they know it's us that has to deal with it

They are gonna keep lowering the bar for the death penalty. Thats why they're so emphasized on dehumanizing every immigrant and painting them all as criminals. Trump wants to get rid of over 20 million human beings, and deporting that many is impossibly expensive, so there is only ONE other way
