how do you artists feel about people who are earnestlyexcitedly telling you about their ai use, how they can do everything you can do etc. as a software engineer i find it really demoralizing that even tho they can't do what i do they still are gleeful about thinking all my hardwon skill worthless

I literally just told you there was more than one famine happening in the ussr at the exact time that i said i would travel to... famines happened a lot prior to industrial farming. Its also especially weird to focus on that instead of the looming war with the nazis that killed many more soviets...

Large scale political upheaval has famines, like the famine that was happening ten years before the holodomor. Or the innumerable famines you might encounter as a 1400s farmer. Its more about the hopefulness of dedicating to a task one believes in and less teleporting to some magic time of all good
