Oh yeah all the balloons and platies died. Some from the bullying from the goldfish, some from I think natural death, one platy died horribly from a swim bladder issue.

These were them before my parents finally agreed to get a bigger tank for the goldies after multiple balloon guys were found dead. Fucking told them it would happen. Sigh.

I nurtured them for about half a year at this point. They grow up so fast. They grew into such beautiful fish.
.... I'll be honest though. I admit that guy that was thrown away for the ugly coloration is indeed ugly, but like, in an adorable way. He look so dumb I love him.

Two of them seemed to be "low quality fish" that were thrown away by their breeders to another fish store. One of them simply have "ugly" coloration while the other have one of their tail torn into two slightly.
Last guy is a funny, almost transparent looking lil guy. Idk what's up with that.

I especially don't want them to kill the fish that I do consider my actual sons: the goldfish. Two of them were once brought here out of my father's stupidity too, but once the tank problem was solved I began to fall for them. Since then I cared for 3 more and I truly love them.

I want to be cruel and just let them be dumb so they may reap the seed that they sow: many, MANY dead fish.
But I don't like the idea of sacrificing so many innocent lives, no matter how "small" they are. I like silly little guys, it's just more reason for me to care.

It's not that hard ffs. And again not my problem you have like 30+ guppies in three separate tanks and one tank full of glofish. Told them to not do that many times and still they keep buying more.

They said that our neighbor is also a fishkeeper and his fish is doing fine. Well I said they never asked if he use water conditioner or not. Told them to just in case ask him or just get the damn water conditioner. They still seemed to be reluctant and wanted to deflect.

I suggested we stayed because well why not? Grandma doesn't mind and our actual home is located in an area that is said to be vulnerable to megathrust earthquake. If they insist, I said they should at least use a water conditioner.
