While it’s unclear who exactly convinced Trump pardon Hernández, he was heavily involved in an experimental libertarian colony in part funded by Peter Thiel: Prospera, a for-profit city-state that is essentially a gated community for the global elite to park capital with little gov oversight/ taxes.
