To be clear: I’m adding the last sentence from whole cloth; they are discussing the consequences of the Norman Conquest through modern sociological tools. It’s MY opinion that the work has prismatic utility for comparing now to then.

I’m told that we would have to change building codes to allow housing in buildings without windows that open. I guess they worry that residents might not have a place to go if the building cooling system breaks.

Seems solvable, but is a real blocker today.

MBIC, google is literally a trillion percent better than Microsoft at this. I get 2-3 calendar invites per day “Office renewal failed, Microsoft 365 access will be revoked.” from “Microsoft Billing”.

1 minute of manual filtering rules would fix it.
