It is interesting how Japanese and Chinese encoding systems were initially developed by western individuals. Chinese by the Danes, Japanese by the Dutch.

Imagine an alternative reality where Chinese is not using a proxy alphabet for encoding? Or rather, an alphabet of strokes and sequence numbers. #cangjie #pinyin

One can notice the rectangular shape of the PCB in the previous post. It has to be circular this time, so I am struggling to arrange them while keeping the labels correct. #pcb

I joined #37C3, #38C3 and I am joining #39C3 this month. But this year is different since I am on a team of a digital artist. Our installation is about language and encoding systems, alphabetic proxies and stroke-based inputs. Our goal is to spotlight certain ideas with electronics and software.

Making anything interoperable, e.g. an instant messaging server or a linux distribution, takes a team x10, x100 efforts compared to a normal use case. This is why XMPP failed 😂

This pushes me towards a positive thinking model that AI might solve this in future.
