Nobody wants this. Next step, renaming the nation's capital to Trumptown. Besides political and cultural pillage, what this paean to fascism will do to traffic visibility and flow alone is horrendous. Doubt it's permitted and approved by anybody anywhere.

“Peace” talks should only be held inside the country that war is destroying. Not likely with Trump and his henchmen in charge, but there’s always a chance of better perspective and urgency than a meeting half a continent away by a sunny beach or dazzled by the gilt of the gleaming Oval Office.

While you're at it, how about reviewing all Executive branch violations of federal law in the past week alone. More importantly, how about doing something, taking action.

Footnoting and crediting here that @jamellebouie.net authored this oped, not Professor Tribe, and as expected and as Tribe's sharing would indicate, it's another brilliant analysis.

So many calls to invoke the 25th Amendment. But Section 4 calls for action from those whose self-interest, financial, and political power depend on Trump in office. Suspect it ain't happening. constitution.congress.gov/browse/essay...

Anybody catch her strident support for administrative policy duing the recent Noem hearings? The MTG concept of empathy is self-serving and erratic.

Blatant racism is not okay. It's never okay. Failure to call out Trump's degrading hate and vile speech is not okay. Silence is not okay. It's shameful. It's cowardly. There is no excuse.

It's quite reasonable to believe Lakanwal was a covert operative, perhaps as a condition of asylum for a wife and 5 children, an option denied to so many who worked for the US in Afghanistan. 3000 miles across country? Farragut Square? Better options existed, even messed up with guilt, pain, PTSD.

and to ensuring the public knows that vaccines are requisite to human health. I stated that Trump believes in vaccines, but this is totally irrelevant because, like RFK, Jr., Trump's medical knowledge comes from badly formed google searches and black magic.

No Cassidy, here's what you can say: As a physician, I took the Hippocratic oath. As a Senator, I swore to defend the Constitution. When I voted for RFK, Jr., I broke both vows. I believed an ignorant, dangerous liar, and I was wrong. I will dedicate myself to removing him from office...
