I thought the most logic would be assigning 5 similar symbols to the vowels, but I didn't find any convincing combination so instead I went from top to bottom and left to right. Of course there are a thousand ways to do this, but it's funny anyway.

Hi. Oxford paper is relatively affordable and really good with fountain pen inks. No feathering, bleeding or ghosting.
As a bonus, it shows sheening quite well.

I would add the pilot V-pen. Although it's single use it is a joy to write with.

Don't forget the worst of them all, the kiwi.
