Weed and adjacent communities were inundated with several feet of snow when a Pacific Ocean bomb cyclone fueled an atmospheric river that hit Northern California Tuesday night. I-5, the state’s main artery for commerce and travel, was shut down forcing truckers and travelers to hole up in the city.
