Reading a section of our book on consumer resistance to persuasion. We, as skeptics, resist persuasion when it comes to strongly held attitudes toward our favorite brands. For instance, I will never agree that Pepsi tastes better than Coca-Cola, no matter how funny their ads are. 😤 #utpcb2024

Interesting how brands market their image to their targeted segment. Consumers' emotions or emotional needs seem to be most firms' go-to when it comes to motivating product consumption. # consumerbehavior #utpcb2024

You wouldn't think a novel's cover art would influence its sales so dramatically! It's interesting how that happened to be the case for several of Agatha Christie's "too gruesome" book covers in the mid-1980s. Looking forward to delving deeper into this topic! #utpcb2024
