It's been two years since my last one of these so hi! Pleasure to meet ya ;)

The entire Ghibli ethos is tied up in the idea of craftsmanship. It's a textual subject of the films (hand carving violins in Whisper of the Heart, for just one example) and the meta work that goes into the films themselves. Their films feature hard workers, and are animated with sweat and tears.
