If you’re talking about Irish duck then a possible answer could be the returns from feather by-products goes towards higher production cost. Otherwise I’m not sure!

Absolutely I agree. Food ends up at the bottom of the list and gets squeezed because it’s paid from “disposable” income. I’m not disputing food inflation at all. 😉

I asked a local window glazer would he consider repair. I gave him the window sizes and manufacturer. He had a replacement hinges with him when he visited. He suggested replacing the seals in a few years time. I think I’ll take him up on that to prolong their usefulness.

BER is not always an effective measure of sustainability. My house is rated B1. It would be A-rated with newer windows. I just don’t believe it’s sustainable to get rid of perfectly grand windows. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I ordered a family meal kit and was given 2 small spuds for a family of 4. I kid you not. I thought it was a joke, mailed them and they were clear they thought that was the correct portion size. Very little info on where their ingredients came from too.
