Panel 3: The boy blushes as Cynthia picks a leaf off of his hand. She's resigned herself to his interruption and tells him, "It's okay, I just finished my daily prayers. Let's head back together. I hope the other girls haven't given you any more trouble..."
Panel 4: A large close-up of their hands, nearly touching but not quite as a bright light highlights their closeness. Cynthia still holds the leaf gently in her palm. The red string of fate is imagined between them, tied around each of their pinkies. The boy cheers, "Thanks, Cynthia! Oh, what were you praying about?" Cynthia immediately answers, "N-Nothing!" with blush lines on the edge of the speech bubble.
