(And then I read the rest of my fiction graveyard. I know why I stopped writing but I do miss it a lot and hope I find my way back to it someday!)

I definitely feel some sort of way about the fact that literal serial-numbers-very-lightly-sanded-down fanfic is now on TV and in the mainstream. On the one hand, I enoyed the show! On the other I hate being a publically visible demographic that can be packaged up for sale to advertisers.

Truly [redacted] has been a gift to the show, because that level of drama tonight was WILD. The casting people must have been popping champagne after all that went down bc talk about "everyone's talking about it" TV moments.

There would be 1000 theories: secret marriage/baby! secret rehab followed by Ottawa to reduce his partying! secret seismic rift in the Boston team forced him out! Secretly a Russian spy, sent to seduce Canadian govt officials in Ottawa (this theory would work better if he'd played in DC first)

Happy Birthday!! Apart from MJ, the most joyful of fangirl meetups, we met up once in a diner for one of those conversations which was like, yes, we've met in person before for 2.5 minutes, and now we'll just act like we've known each other a decade. And you brought R, who played with playdough. ❤️

Assuming it is traditionally published, just think of the sheer number of people who read this book in the second person before it went to press and thought, yes, this is a great choice, let's go with it.

She wrote them pretty quickly IIRC. in fact, I just looked it up, and GN was written in 1935, so only 5 years to wait.
