I've been unable to log in to my Webflow account for a week now. I tried everything. It worked on Safari, but stopped working on Chrome (even on a new profile). ChatGPT gave me a bunch of suggestions, and this one, unexpectedly, worked! Posting it here in case it helps someone.

We don't know how to use LLMs for coding yet. People are throwing spaghetti at the wall and seeing what sticks. Many abandon after a few tries because it doesn't match their expectations. The LLM coding tools are less than two years old. 🧵

Shout out to the products that use Cmd+K for adding a link to a text.
Even better if your product is smart enough to know that pasting a link when text is selected means you want to add a hyperlink and not replace the text!

If you are convincing me that something is “historical,” a change for better/worse, or anything related to politics, economy, education, trade, or healthcare, I want to see a chart of *20 YEARS* of data. With anything less than 20, you are manipulating the narrative.

There has to be a name for the condition where people buy a new domain when they have an idea. Domain Acquisition Syndrome (DAS)? I thought I was cured, but I had a relapse and bought a domain today.

The more I think about OpenAI's Atlas browser, the more I realize how much of a security vulnerability it'll be. With AI browsers, we'll go back to the early days of the Web when you were just one click away from compromising your computer.

Survey: Two-thirds of AI-native startups let AI write most of their code
A new survey of early-stage Seattle founders reveals that AI isn’t just helping write code — in some cases, it’s doing most or even all of it. Marcelo Calbucci reports surprising data from 22 AI-nativ...

Between the big tech companies, I think Meta is the one likely to struggle the most to transition to an AI-as-a-Service company. Microsoft, Amazon, Google, Oracle, Salesforce, and others have deep relationships with developers. Meta? Not so much.

Fascinating story of Trader Joe's as told by @acquiredfm.bsky.social. What stood out for me is how the Trader Joe's narrative is similar to Ikea. They were both “contrarian,” customer-obsessed, focused on differentiation and simplicity of operations, and other shared elements.

If you are a prod/tech exec (CTO, CPO, VPE, or VPP) based in Seattle working at an org with 50-1,000 employees, I'm doing research for a new event concept: Gathering of Seattle's tech leaders to learn from each other's unfiltered experiences, and build authentic relationships.

I'm surprised at how feature-lacking the API key system of tech products is. Creating a key with OpenAI, AWS, GCP, or other services should have options for auto-expiration, rate limits, expense limits, and more. I've never seen this in the wild.

I believe we should have 256 countries on 8 continents, with 32 countries each. It'd make it easier for software engineers, global sports competitions, and to create charts.
