In a 4-to-4 ruling, the US Supreme rejected an appeal for a religious charter school in Oklahoma. "For now, this preserves a foundational principle of the charter movement: charter schools are public schools that respect constitutional and civil rights," said CCAP Exec Dir Tom Hutton.
