Haha I mean that as more of a social construct, referring to the vibe of the posts here. I don't have any insight into the sexes of specific pairs in the park! But same-sex bonding is observed in corvids (www.researchgate.net/publication/...) so I wouldn't assume they're all mixed-sex!
