Think I finally got the HUD sorted out so that everything fits! Plus we now have location names 😎 Now, were it not for all the trees, we'd still know to a certainty that we are clearly in the WOODS.

Did you also want to design NES games when you were a kid? With NES Maker a lot of us now rekindling that passion as an adult and it's just as fun as ever. We've come a long way from drawing Mario maps with pencil and paper. Check out the NES Maker community for more great NES projects.

As a big fan of oldschool game randomizers (Zelda 2!), I'm working on scripting as many randomizable elements as possible in Swampmaster to enhance replay value. No telling what item this treasure chest will give.
