At least on bluesky people are actually *angry* at perceived fascism. A special horror comes from making an *obviously* outrageous comment in jest and receiving a bunch of "how do you do, fellow Nazi?" responses.

It is sad that a solar roof doesn't work out because of the installation costs. The intrinsic cost is the technology plus the land, and your roof is basically free land. Maybe prices will come down if retrofitting becomes more common.

I feel quite certain that Trump did not watch the speech and received some filtered/exaggerated version indirectly. His comments at Davos don't make sense otherwise. My guess is that Carney refuted the imaginary speech in Trump's dementia-addled brain.

People seem to forget that the price of minerals is equal to the cost of extraction. Why would a mining company choose Greenland over Ontario, which is sitting on the same rocks?
