This is depressing as hell but as a UCalgary employee I must say that i’m grateful that compared to Trump 2.0 and many US state governments, the UCP are nervous dilettantes in their attempts to wreck universities. I hope they keep not trying but i’m so worried.

thank you! this is brilliant and applies not just to usa but also to europe and canada and wherever else this evil rhetoric gets traction. it’s so disheartening to think kids in my classroom with (just for example) parents from pakistan or nigeria could be anything other than welcome and first class

It is 0.000001% as bad as all their human rights violations including literally murdering random guys in their boats. But absolutely yes it is fucking unsettling for real that the Secretary of State is taking time to say Times New Roman >>>> Calibri. Who fuckin cares those are both legible fonts

The Dave Stieb series is so good. I am not going to fight about rankings but I highly recommend it especially if you are a Blue Jays fan wishing for more things to be wistful about.

Yeah as a fan, I can’t be mad at the effort, just a little disappointed after a miraculously good first quarter. Will be a good break for both team and fans.
