I think that this is kind of a case of people expect PGs to have a certain level of features and gimmicks.
So Bandai can't just make it anime accurate because people will be disappointed by the lack of detail.
So are you still gonna buy one?

It is very odd to me that McLaren seem to treat the WCC as though it is more prestigious than than the WDC.

Why do you wanna remove the wings?
The wings add so much personality. And the Freedom has much better wings than the Strike Freedom. And balances out the design, it'd look so weird with just a backpack.

I'm also more of a fan of the movie designs than the novels.
The Astray to me is the kind of design edgy teenagers think is the realest thing in the world for mecha.

Well it is a cartoon, I much prefer the idea of a group of people chosing to fight back and change the world than the grim, depressing and shitty reality.
